Say YES To God's version of YOU

Do you feel unqualified?

Do you feel unworthy?

Do you struggle with low self-esteem?

As a daughter of the Most High God, your identity is now wrapped up in Christ Jesus. It means the description that is written in the Word of God is now part of you too.

1 Peter 2:9-10 (NLT) 'But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God's very own possesion. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light. "Once you had no idenity as a people; now you are God's people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God's mercy."

Your identity in Christ means you not only sit in heavenly places with Him, but it also means Heaven's view of you needs to match how you view, think and carry yourself as a daughter of a holy nation and part of a chosen people.

Ephesians 2:6 (NASB95) "And raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,"

Due to your identity in Christ Jesus, He will reveal to you through His Holy Spirit your purpose which you've been designed and engineered to fulfil. Oftentimes His purpose and plans for you don't match up to your skill set or experience or what you've been told you can achieve. This is why it's important to say YES to His plans for you.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Saying YES means accepting HIS plan, His purpose, and the path HE has paved for you. His plans for you were perfected before the world was created.

It means saying YES when you feel uncomfortable, unqualified, inexperienced, unworthy, inadequate and incapable of completing God's purpose and plan for your life.

Moses felt unqualified and inworthy of the call God had for him to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt. God promised He would be with Moses and throughout the life of Moses, God was truly with him every step of the way.

Exodus 3:10-12 (NLT) "Now go, for I nam sending you to Pharaoh. You must lead my people Israel out of Egypt." But Moses protested to God, "Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?" God answered, "I will be with you. And this is your sign that I am the one who has sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God at this very mountain.""

It does not matter about your past mistakes or the person you were before you said Yes to Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour. That is no longer you NOW. Do not let those things from the past or your feelings of unworthiness stop you from saying YES to God's version of you.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) "This means anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. the old life is gone; a new life has begun!"

Trust and believe God has spent every year of your life preparing and training you through the good and hard times of your life as He did with Moses; you might not have realised He was with you through the scenes of your life. Only YOU can accomplish HIS specific plan for you if you say YES to His version of you. Do not allow fear, doubt or worry to rob you of your YES. Today God is giving you the courage to say to His version of YOU.

Do you trust God enough to say YES?

Lets pray:

Thank you Jesus for your word today. I know my identity is only found in you and I am what you say I am according to your Word. I thank You that my past is gone and that I am a new person in You. I choose to trust you and say YES to your plan and purpose for my life. I know you will be with me as I walk on the path you have made for me. Continue to give me strength and courage for this journey even though it feels uncomfortable, I know you are always with me no matter what.

In Jesus name,

Amen.
